Affirmative action unit Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination files, <[198- -ongoing]>.

The Office for Children as a state agency must conform to Exec Order 227 (1983), MGLA c 151B, s 3 et seq, and regulations promulgated by the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD) and the State Office of Affirmative Action (SOAA) governing all areas of employment practices. The director of SOAA may refer information to MCAD when agency may be in violation of law. Series is created by the office's affirmative action unit in response to complaints referred to MCAD.
